Cookies

On an ordinary visit this site sets no cookies. It loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PJHKG23QX4), but the Consent Mode v2 block that runs ahead of the tag leaves every storage signal — analytics, advertising and personalisation — denied by default for every visitor, whatever country they connect from. There is no regional exception and no banner that could flip it, so denied is the permanent state: no analytics cookie is written and no identifier is kept. Google processes your IP address to route the request. There are no advertising cookies.

One exception, named here rather than passed over in silence: on every page view the measurement code checks whether the gr_int flag is present in your browser. That is our own exclusion for internal visits, so that our test traffic does not end up in the figures. It is written only when a page is opened with ?internal=1 appended — as a cookie with a lifetime of one year, and additionally in local storage. On an ordinary visit nothing is written, and nothing on this site links to it. It holds a single flag and nothing about you, and you delete it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
