State pension
This section explains the old-age pension under the Pension and Disability Insurance Act — the conditions for an ordinary and an early pension, and how the amount is put together. It is not confirmed by Fond PIO and has not been through our final sign-off.
What the pension is made of
The old-age pension under the Pension and Disability Insurance Act is calculated from your personal coefficient — which depends on your earnings across your whole working life — multiplied by your pension service and by the value of one personal point. The law states only the point's historical 2004 value; the CURRENT value is set by Fond PIO in a separate act, which was not located in this review — see the pension-amount page for detail.
This section is independent, for your own reference. It works from the rules in force for 2026, under the Pension and Disability Insurance Act (Official Gazette of Montenegro). It is not confirmed by Fond PIO — the results carry no official standing.
